Present Value of Fully Projected Benefits

Computed by projecting the total future benefit cash flow from the plan, using actuarial assumptions (i.e. probability of death or retirement, salary increase, etc.), and discounting the cash flow to the valuation date using the valuation interest rate to determine the present value (today’s value).
